On behalf of the company, we now invite a bright senior professional to join a highly skilled engineering team in the position of: TPS Design Manager.
In this role, you will have a key responsibility for managing and developing traction power supply (TPS) designs for one of the largest railway projects in Europe. You will lead a team of designers, coordinate internal and external stakeholders, and ensure that TPS solutions are technically robust, optimized and fully compliant with all project and regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Report to the Design Manager (or as defined in the agreed organization chart between the Employer and the ENE Contractor) on all TPS-related issues.
  • Lead the development of TPS technical specifications in line with project and contractual requirements.
  • Manage and supervise a team of TPS Designers in the development of both generic and detailed TPS designs.
  • Ensure full compliance of TPS designs with project requirements, applicable standards and technical specifications.
  • Review, maintain and continuously improve TPS-related standards, methodologies and internal procedures.
  • Plan, organize and oversee the preparation, review and approval of TPS design documentation.
  • Manage assigned subcontractors, partner companies and suppliers involved in TPS design and delivery.
  • Act as a key technical point of contact for the client, providing assurance regarding TPS solutions, design quality and compliance.
  • Coordinate and oversee the launch and integration of application designs and remaining TPS-related design activities.
  • Foster a proactive, communicative and open-minded working culture within the TPS design team.
  • Provide strong leadership, mentoring and guidance to ensure design quality, adherence to deadlines and budget targets.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering (or equivalent relevant field).
  • Proven experience as TPS Design Manager (or equivalent senior role) within the last 10 years.
  • Professional experience on at least one railway project.
  • English at C1 level (spoken and written).
  • Strong knowledge of TPS systems and standards within railway or similar large infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop optimized, cost-effective and reliable TPS solutions.
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management capabilities, including coordination with clients, suppliers and internal interfaces.
  • Proactive, communicative and open-minded approach to work, with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities under time pressure.
What We Offer:
  • Monthly gross salary starting from €6,000 up to €8,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
